WWE TV: Changes to Raw and SmackDown: What’s Ahead?

WWE is making significant moves in 2025, with Raw heading to Netflix in January. This will make Netflix the exclusive home for WWE’s flagship program across several countries, including the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. As Dave Simon highlighted, “This deal is transformative, merging WWE’s iconic brand with Netflix’s global reach.” Meanwhile, WWE SmackDown will move from FOX to USA Network, with both Raw and SmackDown airing on USA Network briefly until Raw transitions to Netflix.

WWE TV in 2025 will see RAW and Smackdown on NetFlix for Canadians.

This shift will impact Canadian fans, with Rogers SportsNet losing its broadcasting rights for both Raw and SmackDown. “Canadian fans will have to subscribe to Netflix if they want to keep up with Raw and SmackDown,” Ben Simon added. The change promises to expand WWE’s global audience, but it also means that traditional cable viewers in Canada will need to adjust.

The Wrestling Uncensored audience chimed in with mixed reactions. One viewer, Angelo, commented, “It’s about time WWE moved to a streaming platform like Netflix. AEW All Out Preview: Host Predictions and Fan Comments

Dave and Ben also dove deep into the upcoming AEW All Out pay-per-view, analyzing the card and making predictions. Dave noted the anticipation for the event, stating, “All Out is looking stacked this year, with big matches that could set the tone for AEW’s future.

AEW All Out Match Predictions and Analysis:

  1. MJF vs. Adam Cole
Dave sees MJF retaining his title against Adam Cole but expects a highly competitive match. “Cole’s got a lot of momentum, but I think MJF’s reign continues. He’s been a great heel champion, and AEW would want to build on that,” Dave said. Ben agreed, adding, “I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some interference or controversy – it’s AEW, after all.”
  2. Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Both hosts predicted that Omega would come out on top against Takeshita but warned that this match could steal the show. “Takeshita has been built up as a future star, but Omega needs this win to solidify his status after some recent losses,” Ben noted. Audience member Marco supported this view in the chat, stating, “Omega’s still the guy AEW can count on to deliver big matches.
  3. Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay
Dave was excited about this match, stating, “This is a dream match for many. Jericho vs. Ospreay will be a clash of styles, and I think Ospreay might take it to cement his place in AEW.” Ben added, “Jericho could use his veteran smarts to pull off a win, but I’m leaning towards Ospreay, who is in his prime.”

Fan Comments on AEW All Out:

The live chat was buzzing with predictions and opinions from viewers. Angelo wrote, “This card is fire! Can’t wait to see MJF and Cole tear the house down.” Another viewer, Jason, expressed excitement for the Omega-Takeshita bout, saying, “Omega’s matches are always a must-watch. Takeshita has a chance to shock everyone.

UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House

Colby’s Gone, Dana’s Wrong, and UFC Freedom 250 Has Real Problems

Three stories are colliding in MMA right now, and none of them are particularly flattering for the sport. Colby Covington is out of the UFC after going once-a-year for five years and losing four of his last six — then finding himself off the White House guest list despite being Trump’s loudest MMA supporter for a decade. Trump’s actual favorite fighter? Khabib. UFC Freedom 250 is June 14 on the White House lawn with Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje and Alex Pereira vs. Cyril Gane, but the UFC is running its own judges with no government athletic commission in place, it’s going to be 80-plus degrees outside with insects swarming the lights, and 50,000 people are watching on outdoor screens nearby. And Dana White told Time magazine that people who talk about their mental health publicly are giving young men permission to be weak. It’s the most dangerous thing he’s said in years — and the most revealing.

UFC 329 event featuring McGregor and Max Holloway

McGregor vs. Holloway at UFC 329: The Rematch, the Odds, and Why MVP MMA 1 Made the UFC Look Untouchable

Conor McGregor is officially back. UFC 329, July 11, 2026, T-Mobile Arena — McGregor versus Max Holloway in a welterweight rematch at 170 pounds. The UFC announced it mid-MVP MMA 1, which was either perfect timing or a mercy kill depending on how you look at it. Because MVP MMA 1 was not the show the sport needed. Ronda Rousey submitted Gina Carano in 17 seconds, then retired on the microphone. Junior dos Santos and Francis Ngannou were involved in mismatches. The broadcast felt decades behind. Meanwhile, the UFC is heading into the most ambitious summer in company history — Freedom 250 at the White House on June 14th, Makhachev vs. Gaethje for the lightweight title, Pereira vs. Gane for the interim heavyweight belt, and a full UFC 329 card built around the return of the sport’s biggest star. The gap between the real sport and everything else has never looked wider.
