22 May Victory MMA 6 This Saturday! – Ringside Report + Wrestling Uncensored
Victory MMA returns with their sixth installment of quality amateur MMA bouts with Victory MMA 6: BATTLE FOR THE BELTS 2 this Saturday for the second time at Club Soda, 1225 St. Laurent in Downtown, Montreal.
The main event of the evening will featured the reigning and defending Victory MMA Lightweight champion Alex Morgan (12-1-1) who may be seen on the amateur circuit for the last time. The product of Gladiateur Fight Club de Sorel, plans to turn pro if he defeats his challenger Big Country MMA’s Joe Elliot in impressive fashion.
Light Heavyweights collide in the co-main event as Mathieu Langlais of Gladiateur Fight Club de Sorel squares off against Adam Dyczka of Team Waardenburg/Speedy Gym to determine the inaugural Victory MMA Light Heavyweight champion. Once the bout is complete, the winner will defend that championship against Chris Cleveland.
With current Victory MMA Welterweight champion O’Denva Phillips on the shelf, an interim champion will be crowned. EFL Welterweight champion Matthew Richardson of N1 Thai Boxing battles Nordik Fight Club’s Alex Fecteau.
In a rematch from Victory MMA 5, Merouane Ghalmi and Christophe Alfonzo step back into the ring to duke it out, however this time it’s for gold. In their last outing Alfonzo came out on top in a very debatable decision from the judges. Previously undefeated Ghalmi looks to redeem the only blemish on his record, while Alfonzo attempts to remain undefeated as they compete for the inaugural Victory MMA 150 lbs Low-Kick Championship.
Victory MMA is also proud to announce the launch of the new Victory MMA website: www.victorymma.tv and the new VICTORY MMA YouTube channel. In addition to full events posted for the world to see, this new feature from Victory MMA will feature news, official photos, results, videos and much more.
With this announcement Victory MMA is adding lots of new elements as Ringside Report Radio’s Kevin McKough has relinquished his position as ring announcer to Eric Emard, as he will be handling post-fight interviews and take a position on the broadcast team of the new website and YouTube channel productions. Victory MMA will now feature more ring girls as Kristina Simonova will now share her duties with Fanny Lapointe and Stephany Legare from Agence 5 Star Events.
