Episode 13- June 19, 2012
Thiago Bodao (Team Wanderlei) will face Cezar Mutante (Team Vitor) in the middleweight semi-final on this episode. The winner will face Daniel Sarafian in the middleweight finals. Bodao was selected 5th by Team Vitor, 10th overall while Cezar Mutante was Team Vitor’s 1st pick, 2nd overall in the draft.
Wanderlei Silva says Cezar Mutante is a good fighter but he will only be impressed if he can beat Thiago Bodao.
Vitor Belfort says he really likes Thiago Bodao. Wanderlei says if Bodao can get his opponent against the fence “it’s game over”.
Serginho is shown training jiu-jitsu with Thiago Bodao. Thiago Bodao says he will bring a war in his fight and fulfill his dream.
Vitor Belfort says Cezar Mutante is a first-rate Capoeira fighter and has better jiu-jitsu than Bodao. Mutante says he will knock out or submit Thiago Bodao. Cezar Mutante says: “Even if the world falls down. Tomorrow I’ll be there, ready to fight.“
Gasparzinho (Team Vitor) says Mutante is very good on the ground and Bodao is not so good on the ground. Gasparzinho predicts a first round submission win for Mutante.
Daniel Sarafian (Team Vitor) believes Bodao is a sprawl-and-brawl fighter and Mutante is a more well-rounded fighter.
Thiago Bodao and the rest of Team Wanderlei pray in the van on the way to the fight. Team Vitor sings a song about Cezar Mutante being victorious on the way to the fight in their van.
Thiago Bodao believes he has better cardio than his opponent. Mutante believes he has better technique than Bodao.
Brazilian television sports commentator Galvao Bueno comes to visit with the fighters in the gym and watch the last TUF Brazil bout.

Round 1- Mutante lands an overhand left and catches Bodao with a knee to the face in a Muay-Thai clinch. Mutante lands a straight kick to the body and a straight left hand to the face. Mutante lands a huge left high-kick that knocks Bodao unconscious.

Several replays are shown of the beautiful knockout that will likely stand as the knockout of the season. Bodao is out for a bit but regains consciousness. Bodao asks Wanderlei if the fight will continue and says he is ready to continue. Bodao begins to cry when he realizes that he has lost the bout. Cezar Mutante hugs Bodao to console him.
Bodao says he does not remember the kick by Mutante. Vitor Belfort says he was happy for Mutante but worried about Bodao after the fight.
Cezar Mutante goes to Team Wanderlei’s locker room after the fight and tells Bodao that the fight could have gone three rounds or could have ended with a single strike from either man. Wanderlei Silva says to Mutante that he has gained his respect. Team Wanderlei’s coaches shake hands with Mutante and offer their congratulations and respect.
Cezar Mutante wins a pickup truck for being the finalist to win his fights in the least time spent in the octagon.
Rony Jason wins submission of the season for his arm-bar in the quarter-finals to submit Gasparzinho.
Cezar Mutante wins knockout of the season for his head-kick in the semi-finals to knock out Thiago Bodao.
Thiago Bodao and Massaranduba win fight of the season for their quarter-final bout.
Rony Jason, Mutante, Bodao and Massaranduba each get a cheque for 45,000 Reais which amounts to just over $20,000 U.S. dollars.
The fighters all have a party at the TUF Brazil house and finally tie up Gasparzinho.
