AEW Blood and Guts 2026: Full Card, Full Gear Preview and Ospreay vs. Fletcher

AEW has a lot to sell over the next two weeks, and the first big piece is AEW Blood and Guts on Wednesday, November 4. It’s two rings, two cages, and a whole lot of violence, live from Jacksonville.

The men’s match alone has Will Ospreay, Edge (Adam Copeland), Darby Allin, the Young Bucks, and one more partner against the Don Callis Family. On paper, it might be the best match of the year. Then, ten days later, comes Full Gear in Phoenix, and AEW has announced only a handful of matches for what is usually a huge card.

Here’s where everything stands after Fright Night Dynamite, and where I think it’s all headed.

AEW Blood and Guts Card for November 4

Lineups per The SmackDown Hotel and Wrestling Inc.

For me, the AEW Blood and Guts men’s match is the one to watch. I look at that babyface team and see nothing but legends and future legends. Ospreay and Darby are the next generation, the Bucks are living legends, and Edge is a Hall of Famer. Johnny thinks the women’s AEW Blood and Guts match opens the show and the men’s match closes it, and I agree.

The Don Callis Family side doesn’t impress me as much on paper, but Okada and Fletcher can carry any match, and they might even get the win. Johnny would rather see the two matches split between Dynamite and Collision, which is a fair point because it’s a lot to take in one night.

Full Gear: Ospreay vs. Fletcher and the Rest of the Card

Full Gear comes just ten days after AEW Blood and Guts. It takes place Saturday, November 14 in Phoenix, and the card is thin for now. The announced matches, per Khel Now, are the Brawling Birds vs. Wrathlander for the women’s tag titles, the Young Bucks vs. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle for the tag titles, and Hangman Page and Brodido defending the trios titles against Swerve Strickland and The New Level.

The main event is Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher, as Fightful reported. On Dynamite, Fletcher dared Ospreay to put the AEW World Championship on the line, so watch for AEW to confirm that.

Johnny was surprised. He expected Samoa Joe to get the shot, since Joe made Ospreay tap in a multi-man match at the last pay-per-view. I understand that, but Fletcher has been on a roll, and they have history. Johnny noted it will be their fifth match in AEW.

I don’t see Fletcher winning. The match will be great, but nobody believes the result is in doubt. A test like this is how you build someone, and AEW likes long stories. I could see Joe getting the next shot at World’s End.

Anarchy in the Arena, The Cut and the Death Riders

The Death Riders challenged The Cut to Anarchy in the Arena at Full Gear, and AEW hasn’t made it official. With stables this big, and AEW Blood and Guts showing how deep the roster is, I’d bet it happens.

Counting heads is the fun part. The Cut, which fans forced to rebrand from The Outfit, has seven members: Jay White, the Gunns, Juice Robinson, David Finlay, Clark Connors and Ace Austin. The Death Riders have Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta and Gabe Kidd, so five. That’s 12 wrestlers between them, and the Death Riders would need two more bodies to even things up.

Johnny thinks AEW listening to the fans on the name change is a good sign, and I agree. Not every wrestling company does that.

A New TBS Champion on Fright Night Dynamite

The big title news from Fright Night Dynamite was Queen Aminata beating Persephone to win the TBS Championship. It’s her first title in AEW, and per Wrestling Inc, Britt Baker interfered, but Aminata still got the pin.

Johnny’s take is that Darby Allin’s TNT Championship match against Josh Alexander was a tough act to follow. He’s right. When a match ends with a Tombstone through chairs, the next title match has a very hard job.

Also worth remembering is the Jericho Cruise edition of Collision on Saturday, November 7. Wrestling on a boat is something I’ll be watching, docked or not.

What This Means for the Road to World’s End

AEW has three main stories running at once: the AEW Blood and Guts war with the Don Callis Family, Ospreay vs. Fletcher, and the Death Riders vs. The Cut. If AEW pays all three off in the next two weeks, Full Gear could be loaded.
