Interbox delivered couple of KO’s and TKO’s in seven bouts at the Bell Centre in Montreal as Lucian Bute successfully defended his IBF Super Middleweight title against #5 ranked super middleweight Brian Magee. Bute dropped the Irish fighter three times for a TKO victory in the 10th round. Although, Magee got a few shots in, Bute worked the body in his 8th title defense.

Kenny Foster, Daniel Straus, Wilson Reis, and Patricio Freire all victorious in the quarter final match ups of the Bellator World Featherweight Tournament to advance to the semi finals.  Foster and Reis both got first round submission victories over their opponents; Foster with a guillotine choke over Erick Larkin, and Reis with a rear naked choke over Zac George. Freire got the only TKO of the tournament over Georgi Karakhanyanwas; while, Straus was the only man to go the distance in the quarter finals beating Nazareno Malegarie by unanimous decision.
