UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz Results

Montreal – March 16th, 2013. UFC 158 took place at the Bell Centre with a 12-bout card had 7 decision bouts, 5 TKO/KOs, and noUFC_158_Poster submissions. The main event featured UFC Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in his eighth consecutive title defense against former STRIKEFORCE Welterweight champion Nick Diaz. St-Pierre won a five round unanimous decision 50-45 on all three judges score cards by dominating Diaz with wrestling, ground control, and crisp striking. The co-main event featured the fight of the night and early fight of the year candidate with Welterweights Johny Hendricks versus Carlos Condit. The two battled in an absolute war for three rounds, with Hendricks picking up the decision earning himself a title shot in the process. Fellow top ranked Welterweight Jake Ellenberger won knockout of the night with his first round victory over Nate Marquardt. (Full UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz event results below.)
