gastelumsonnenEpisode 10- March 26, 2013- Collin Hart versus Kelvin Gastelum and Dylan Andrews v. Luke Barnatt will take place on this episode in the first two quarter-final bouts of the tournament.

Bubba McDaniel says he did not want to fight Uriah Hall because of what he did to Adam Cella is his last fight. McDaniel is worried and Jon Jones tries to motivate him.

Kelvin Gastelum says he does not think Team Jones thinks he can box.

Jon Jones says believes Gastelum is “OK” while Collin Hart is “OK” at everything but “excellent” at jiu-jitsu.

Chael Sonnen says Gastelum is a sleeper pick for Team Sonnen. Sonnen says Collin Hart is a big problem to some guys on his team but not Kelvin Gastelum. Sonnen says Gastelum is more of a brawler than a wrestler.

Ronda Rousey arrives to help coach Kelvin Gastelum and the rest of Team Sonnen. Chael Sonnen had arranged for Gastelum to speak with Rousey on the phone prior to his last fight. Rousey said that if Gastelum won, she would visit the Ultimate Fighter gym to train him. Chael Sonnen says he has never seen anyone improve in three weeks like Kelvin Gastelum has. Ronda Rousey is impressed by the learning ability of Team Sonnen. Ronda Rousey gives an excellent motivational speech to Team Sonnen about your opponent not having the right to beat you.

Jon Jones expects Collin Hart to get taken down and get a submission win off his back.

Kelvin Gastelum says he is “honored” and “excited” to be the youngest guy in the semi-finals.

Chael Sonnen says Luke Barnatt versus Dylan Andrews is interesting because Barnatt was the first pick overall in the draft while Andrews was the last.

Dylan Andrews connects well with Stone Horse, a Team Jones Muay-Thai coach from Buffalo, New York. Andrews says Stone Horse has been a father figure to him through his Ultimate Fighter experience.

Mike Tyson is at The Ultimate Fighter gym to wish Dylan Andrews and Luke Barnatt good luck before their quarter-final fight.

Barnatt looks for a kimura but Andrews rolls through and again lands in Barnatt’s guard. Barnatt lands an elbow from his back and looks for an omoplata but Andrews avoids all submission attempts and stays on top. Andrews tries to take Barnatt’s back and sink in a rear-naked choke but Barnatt escapes as time expires. I would score Round 2 for Dylan Andrews: 10-9

Round 3- Andrews pushes Barnatt into the fence but Barnatt reverses position and lands knees to the body and face in a Muay-Thia clinch. Andrews pushes away and lands a solid right hook. Clint Hester grew up near Atlanta, Georgia. Hester says he is laid back and will remain the same when he is a superstar. Hester says his family supports his ream to pursue mixed-martial arts.

Jon Jones says Clint Hester is always happy and smiling. Jones says Hester is one of the most well-rounded fighters and has what it takes to deal with Quinlan’s wrestling. Jones says Hester is hard working whose only weakness is a slight lack of endurance.
