Episode 8. November 9, 2011

Louis Gaudinot says the “cliques are starting to come out in the house.” He says his clique is comprised of John Dodson, Josh Ferguson, Marcus Brimage, Diego Brandao, Akira Corassani and himself. Gaudinot says Johnny Bedford, Dustin Pague and Dennis Bermudez are the “bible study group” and calls the rest of the guys “the casino” because they are all playing cards. Gaudinot says the house is becoming more segregated. Corassani says “the casino” annoys him a lot and he dislikes Bryan Caraway.

Akira Corassani sneaks into Bryan Caraway’s room when he is asleep and shaves off a piece of his hair. Corassani said he was annoyed with Caraway always styling his hair. Caraway is very upset. Corassani and the rest of his clique thinks it’s very funny.

Mayhem says he heard Tiki Ghosn was planning a prank on his car, so he showed up to the gym on a small bike.

Michael Bisping sprays memebers of Team Mayhem with a fire extinguisher. A mariachi band then arrives and begins to play in a gym facility that is now filled with fire extinguisher haze. Jason Miller finds an extinguisher and sprays Tiki. All the coaches seem to be having a good time. Johnny Bedford is upset because he has the biggest fight of his life coming up and he doesn’t want the fluid in his lungs.

Gaudinot says the prank was great but the gym is destroyed. Team Bisping isn’t able to get their practice for the day because they wrecked the gym.

Bisping is training Akira for his semi-final fight against Dennis Bermudez. Bisping has Corassani start on his back and work to get back to his feet to combat the wrestling ability of Bermudez.

Marcus Brimage jumps on Michael Bisping and puts his jock strap in his face. Brimage runs away so Bisping retaliates by picking up Akira and throwing him on the ground and shoving the sweaty jock strap in Akira’s face.

Michael Bisping shows up to the house and summons him team for a meeting in the garden. Bisping and Tiki Ghosn get the whole team and spray silly string on them. Bisping sprays lots on Marcus Brimage.

Dennis Bermudez says he usually fights to win and not to hurt anyone but this time he wants to hurt his opponent.

Jason Miller brings in (20-4) MMA fighter and expert striker Siyar Bahadurzada to train with Dennis Bermudez for his fight. Miller says Akira Corassani has trained with Siyar and Bahadurzada is a better version.

Akira Corassani sings a song to Dennis Bermudez about him beating Dennis and sending him home. Bermudez just stands and stares him down.

Dana White says Akira Corassani is “very cocky and a little nutty,” and thinks Akira was foolish for calling out Dennis Bermudez. White says Akira may have “bitten off more than he an chew,” in this bout.

Jason Miller says “I respect Michael Bisping… but I respect my father and it never stopped me from whooping his ass.”

Dennis Bermudez (7-2, Team Mayhem) v. Akira Corassani (9-3, Team Bisping) (Featherweight Semi-Final)

Round 1- Corassani lands a left hook in the first 20 seconds that rocks Bermudez. Corassani defends a takedown attempt but Bermudez is able to reover and land a solid knee to Corassani’s body. Both fighters land solid punches but Corassani lands a heavy left hand that drops Bermudez. Bermudez is only momentarily stunned and manages a big takedown on Corassani. Bermudez attempts a guillotine choke with Akira sat up against the cage. Bermudez slowly sinks it in and eventually forces Corassani to submit.

Dennis Bermudez def. Akira Corassani via submission (guillotine choke) in Round 1 to advance to the live Featherweight finale on December 3.

Corassani does not know walks around and does not know where he is and asks Bisping what happened. Bisping tells him that it was a guillotine. Corassani did not appear choked out but asks Bisping if he lost and if he’s out of the tournament. Corassani is upset and shocked but says he will return to the octagon.
