Denis Kang stepped into the Warrior-1 cage for the first time on Saturday, June 19 in the main event of W-1 Judgement Day, held in Laval, Québec. Kang’s first punch knocked down his opponent Dae Won Kim, he then secured an arm-triangle choke to force the first stanza submission. Adrian “The Bully” Wooley defended his W-1 bantwamweight (135lbs.) championship in a dominating performance over Cesar Gracie trained, Randy Spence. John “Haggis Basher” Fraser scored his fourth consecutive victory and exacted some revenge in a rematch with Thierry “The Surgeon” Quenneville. Fraser had lost to Quenneville earlier in his career but won this bout via submission due to strikes to become the first Warrior-1 featherweight (145lbs.) champion.
